Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Wales
DMW require a mechanical commissioning engineer for a power plant in North Wales.
Role:
- Dry commissioning of Main Inlet Valve (takeover from installation)
- Power up of cubicle.
- Signal testing.
- Filling of systems.
- First pressurizing of HPU.
- Sub logic testing of HPU and auxiliary systems.
- Opening and closing time adjustment of MIV, first movement of MIV
- Seal adjustment, friction band measurement.
Requirements:
- Hands on experience in mechanical commissioning associated with power plants (essential)
- OEM contractor experience (essential)
- MIV commissioning experience (desirable)
Rate & Conditions:
- Rate: £45-£50 LTD or CIS per hour + sat overtime rate.
- Accommodation: Provided.
- Transport: Compensated 2 hours per week of standard rate.
- Start: 01.02.2026 (at the latest)
- Duration: 8 weeks.
- Location: North Wales.
- Working time: Monday-Friday (50 hours) Saturday (6 hours)
- Tools: Provided.
- IT (Laptop): Provided.
