The Client
We are recruiting a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at one of Surrey's finest golf clubs As part of a hard-working brigade you will be assisting the Head Chef in serving quality food to our distinguished members and guests. You will prepare meals for the members bar and functions.
The Client
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join an established Head Chef and help manage the kitchen and maintain high standards of cuisine and hygiene.
The Role
- Reporting to the Head Chef
- Working in a professional and friendly environment using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients
- Preparing Function meals & Bar Meals
- 45 hours per week, over 5 days, some evenings
Requirements
A successful candidate as Sous Chef will have the following
- A proven track record
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Have experience of working in a busy, fast paced kitchen environment.
- Good attention to detail
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Level 3 food hygiene
- Knowledge of patisserie
- Knowledge of Haccp
Salary & benefits
As Sous Chef you will recieve:
Basic Salary to £42,000
Work life balance Uniform provided after the 12-week probation Period
20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
Meals provided on duty.
An opportunity to play golf on a top 100 golf course.
The ideal candidate will have a similar background or have worked in the hotel industry, working in kitchens with multi facility outlets
