Job Title: CNC Programmer/Operator

Pay: £25,000 - £29,000
Shift and Schedule: Day shift, Overtime available
About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team at our Blackwater location. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a variety of CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, with a focus on precision
- Modifying CNC programs as required to meet specific production needs
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents
- Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshooting and making adjustments to machinery when necessary
- Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of CNC experience, preferably with Mazak machines
- Strong understanding of CNC programming languages and the ability to modify programs
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and check finished components for defects
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
