Ridgeway & Co are proud to be partnering with a leading Contractor, specialising in the Residential sector, based in Cambridge. This is an opportunity for a skilled Estimator to join a dynamic team with a competitive salary of up to £100,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
The Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, ensuring accurate pricing, budgeting, and cost control for projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess project requirements.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing.
- Collaborating with clients, architects, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Providing financial updates and reports to ensure project profitability.
