Pure are delighted to be partnering with the University of Cambridge to recruit a Finance Coordinator role. This role is backfilling someone who is moving onto their multi-year finance transformation project. This role is for a 2 year fixed term period within the School of Humanities and Social Science, based on Mill Lane in Central Cambridge.

The purpose of the role will be to co-ordinate Finance administration services, to contribute to the management of Departmental/Unit finances.

Duties of the role will involve:
  • Reconciliations
  • Reporting activities and month end accounts preparation
  • Invoice processing and payments
  • Payroll duties
  • Advising budget holders and Heads of Departments
  • Contributing to the review of processes and procedures
  • General accounts administration
The ideal candidate will have experience within a relevant accounts role, knowledge of reporting tools, and strong verbal and written communication skills. You will also have strong knowledge of accounting systems, and be proficient in your use of Microsoft Excel.
