Salary:35-38,000

A well-established and highly respected architectural practice, renowned for its thoughtful and sustainable design approach, is seeking an experienced Architect to join its welcoming and collaborative Cambridge studio. With a varied portfolio spanning education, healthcare, cultural, and residential projects, the practice is committed to delivering high-quality design, combining creativity with technical excellence.

This role provides the opportunity to play a central role in the design and delivery of a broad range of projects. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors, guiding schemes from detailed design through to construction and on-site completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality design and technical drawings
  • Coordinate design and technical information with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6
  • Ensure designs comply with current UK building regulations and technical standards
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary design environment
  • Assist with design and technical coordination during construction and on-site stages

Skills & Experience

  • ARB-registered Architect
  • Experience within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong technical knowledge and construction detailing skills
  • Sound understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
  • Proficiency in Revit and a good understanding of BIM processes
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach
