A well-established and respected architectural practice, known for its thoughtful and sustainable design approach, is seeking an experienced Architect to join its friendly and collaborative Cambridge studio. The practice delivers work across a broad range of sectors including education, healthcare, cultural, and residential projects. There is a strong emphasis on producing high-quality, well-considered design that carefully balances creativity with technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production of high-quality design and technical drawing packages
- Coordinate design and technical information with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3 to 6
- Ensure compliance with current UK building regulations and technical standards
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team
- Assist with design development and technical coordination during construction and on-site phases
Skills and Experience
- ARB-registered Architect
- Experience working within a UK-based architectural practice
- Strong technical knowledge with proven construction detailing ability
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in Revit with a solid understanding of BIM processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset
