Student Personal Development Coach

We are working with a Further Education provider in Cambridge who requires an experienced Personal Development Coach to work term-time supporting their student population. Youll help them stay on track with their studies, provide pastoral, skills development and learning support while also tracking and monitoring their progress.

As mentioned, this is a term-time role, working 38 weeks per annum and its a 37 hour working week.

On a day-to-day basis youll:

Provide pastoral support to ensure students continue and thrive in their studies

Develop resources, improving the PD resources the College offers

Deliver T-mail tutorials

Support Maths and English sessions

Complete one-to-one tutorials with students

Highlight available resources and assistive technology available

Track and monitor the progress of students and contribute to EHCP reviews

Liaise with parents/guardians over progress, concerns and support available.

The ideal person will have worked in a PD role previously and have experience of supporting in a further education environment, enjoying working with young people in both a practical and classroom environment.

This permanent position offers an annual salary of £25,400 - £27,000 per annum (actual salary after allowing for 38 weeks per annum).
