Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:
- Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and specifications across all RIBA stages, particularly RIBA 4-6
- Work closely with architects and project leads to ensure design intent is delivered accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve technical issues and support project delivery
- Assist in project and team coordination, including overseeing junior technicians and support staff
- Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is highly beneficial
Experience Required:
- HNC/HND or a degree in Architectural Technology
- Significant UK-based experience in an architectural technician role
- Strong technical knowledge, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects
- Experience working across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- CIAT membership or working towards it is advantageous
