We’re recruiting for a CNC Miller to join our growing, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company within Cambridge known for high-accuracy machining across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and program CNC milling machines to tight tolerances
  • Interpret technical drawings and job specs
  • Select tools, feeds, and speeds for efficient machining
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality checks
  • Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records
  • Work safely and meet production targets

About You:

  • Experienced CNC Miller with 5+ years’ experience (Desirable)
  • Confident reading drawings and setting up machines
  • Skilled with precision measuring tools
  • Knowledge of CNC programming (Heidenhain preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and team-working skills
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Apprenticeship or formal CNC training
  • Experience with various CNC control systems
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
