An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join a highly regarded precision engineering company in Cambridgeshire. If you have experience with 3, 4 or 5 axis milling machines, this could be a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and rewarding role which will see you machining different components every day.

You'll be working in a clean workshop producing complex, high-precision, fast turnaround components for a wide range sectors including medical, scientific, and optical. This means you can say goodbye to repetitive machining! It's a business that prides itself on quality, not volume. You'll be greeted by a close, supportive team and will be working consistent hours on days only. There is also plenty of overtime available at an increased rate!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5 axis)
  • Machining complex components for variety of industries - Mainly metallics
  • Working to extremely tight tolerances across small batches and one-offs


What's needed:

  • CNC milling experience (3, 4 or 5 axis)
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Experience using Heidenhain or siemens controls would be advantageous
  • The ability to machine high quality components consistently
