Our client is seeking to appoint a part-time Personal Assistant (PA) to their Director of College Services.

Personal Assistant (PA) to the Director of College Services

Location: Cambridge

Vacancy type: Permanent, Part-time, 21.75 hours per week, flexible over 4 or 5 days

Salary: £32,428 - £33,360 per annum, pro-rata

The Director of College Services (DOCS) has overall responsibility for leading this College’s service operations and facilities management, and leads the Heads of Departments responsible for Accommodation, Events, Catering, Maintenance, Housekeeping and other functions. The Director of College Services is also heavily involved in the management of major projects, for example works on existing or new buildings, and is responsible for compliance with statutory requirements, acting as College Safety Officer, as the Designated Premises Supervisor and as ANUK Compliance Officer.

The postholder will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, administrative, organisational, and project support to the Director of College Services, taking responsibility for the DOCS's schedule, communications and College committee responsibilities, including preparing documentation for formal meetings and producing accurate and timely minutes. The postholder will liaise with colleagues across the College and be a professional first point of contact for matters relating to the DOCS's office.
