Senior Audit Manager Cambridge Up to £80,000

Join a growing Top 10 accountancy firm's commercial audit team. In this dynamic, flexible role, you'll manage a diverse client portfolio, tackle complex technical challenges and help clients make informed decisions about their future.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial audit clients, overseeing engagements from planning through to reporting.
  • Tackle complex accounting and technical matters, providing clear solutions and guidance.
  • Lead and mentor audit teams via coaching and feedback, embedding best practice
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients.
  • Project-manage engagements, including scoping, planning, execution, reporting and final delivery.
  • Contribute to wider department initiatives to include training, pitch preparation and process improvement.

Personal Requirements

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post-qualification commercial audit experience.
  • Proven track record managing audits of large or technically complex companies.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 IFRS advantageous.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent project-management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable leading teams and presenting to senior stakeholders.
