Year 5 Teacher

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher to take on a part-time Class Teacher role on a 60% basis in a school on the east side of the centre of Cambridge, starting in September 2025.

The desired KS2 Teacher will be working part-time in a Year 5 class, with a wide range of ability levels. They are lovely bunch who are keen to learn and are enthusiastic and energetic but rewarding to work with! This role would be suitable for both ECTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in KS2. The role is 3 days a week and ideally Monday - Wednesday.

This two form entry primary school is rated Good by Ofsted and has a hard working and dedicated SLT. The school has recently achieved this rating and is really seen as a school on the up! It now has a steady staff team and well behaved children who are keen to learn.

To be considered for the role of Year 5 Teacher you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching primary education at all levels.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons

As Year 5 Teacher you will be responsible for:

• Full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 5 class

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
