We are seeking an enthusiastic After School Club Worker to join our vibrant primary school in Cambridge. This role is perfect for someone passionate about child development and education, looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Supervise children aged 5-11 years in the after school club, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities that cater to the interests and developmental needs of children.
  • Assist with homework and provide educational support as needed.
  • Coordinate with school staff and parents to ensure effective communication regarding children's progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the club area, preparing snacks and organising materials for activities.
  • Monitor and manage children's behaviour, applying appropriate behavioural management techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or after school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with children and adults alike.
  • Creative and energetic, with a passion for educational activities.
  • First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
