Job Duties:- Providing physical and emotional support to individuals in a healthcare setting
- Assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meals, and medication management
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and overall well-being
- Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and family members
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Basic Life Support certification
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience:Prior experience in a healthcare or support worker role is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Empathy and compassion for patients
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care
- Experience working with individuals with specific medical conditions or disabilities
- Driver with Access to a vechicle
- Shift work including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Exposure to various healthcare settings such as hospitals, care homes, and community centres
- Physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting patients
