Support Worker
Location:East of England, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon

Salary:£12.21 - £17.50 Per hour
Job Duties:- Provide support to individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Encourage and promote independence and social inclusion
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Valid DBS check
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Driver with access to a vechicle
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge and Skills:- Understanding of safeguarding principles
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to provide emotional support and empathy
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- First Aid certification
- Part-Time hours, may include evenings and weekends
- Work primarily in residential care settings
- Physical demands including lifting and assisting clients
