We are seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to join the tax department of a small, growing financial services business in East Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personal / private client tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base.

Description

  • Manage and deliver tax services to a private client portfolio
  • Assist in the development of innovative tax planning strategies
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws
  • Mentor junior staff members and assist in their development
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Assist in business development initiatives

Profile

A successful Assistant Tax Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a professional tax or accounting qualification
  • Proven experience in a tax role within a professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior staff
