Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage customer bookings using internal systems and online portals.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound communications with UK and European clients.
  • Resolve customer queries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with import/export, domestic, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support sales efforts through effective prospecting and customer onboarding.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with compliance and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to process improvements and the overall success of the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in road freight or logistics is highly desirable.
  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
