Day-to-day of the role:- Manage customer bookings using internal systems and online portals.
- Handle both inbound and outbound communications with UK and European clients.
- Resolve customer queries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with import/export, domestic, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support sales efforts through effective prospecting and customer onboarding.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with compliance and operational procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and the overall success of the team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in road freight or logistics is highly desirable.
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
