A leading multinational manufacturer of plastic parts and components for major OEMs is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.


Salary: Up to 47,000 + Overtime | Monday-Friday | 37.5 hours per week

Working in a busy manufacturing environment, your duties will focus on maximising production uptime through the timely resolution of breakdowns and ensuring TPM activities are carried out according to schedule, as well as overseeing planned subcontracted services.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Responding to both breakdowns and planned maintenance of production machinery
  • Maintaining the spare parts inventory, ordering replacements as needed
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are accurately recorded
  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding equipment to resolve issues

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will ideally:

  • Be multi-skilled, with experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Hold a qualification in either an electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Have worked on plastic processing machinery such as injection moulding, extrusion, or blow moulding machines
  • Have experience working with PLCs
  • Hold 18th Edition electrical regulations certification
