About the Role:
As an Education Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff to support students with a range of additional needs. This role plays a key part in helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment within specialist education settings.
Your Key Duties Will Include:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND.
- Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning plans and interventions.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing.
- Offering personal care and mobility assistance when needed.
- Contributing to classroom activities and modifying materials to suit individual needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach.
Who We're Looking For:
- Individuals with a passion for working with children who have special needs.
- Patient, understanding, and flexible in their approach.
- Good communication and team-working abilities.
- Keen to learn and grow professionally in the field of education.
- Experience or qualifications in SEN support are welcome but not required.
