This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Years 3 to 6 as they develop key skills and prepare for the transition to secondary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and confidence
  • Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and administrative tasks
  • Help monitor pupil progress and feedback to teaching staff
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
  • A passion for education and a supportive, patient approach
  • Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and classroom expectations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A proactive, flexible attitude to working across different schools and age groups
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to pupil welfare
