This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Years 3 to 6 as they develop key skills and prepare for the transition to secondary education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and confidence
- Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and administrative tasks
- Help monitor pupil progress and feedback to teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
- Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
- A passion for education and a supportive, patient approach
- Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and classroom expectations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- A proactive, flexible attitude to working across different schools and age groups
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to pupil welfare
- Right to work in the UK
