Join an established, successful, and growing business as the Head of Procurement. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a small team and manage indirect procurement across all group companies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply strategies for a broad range of categories.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring effective performance and development.
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans across various categories to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money and service excellence.
  • Oversee the procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other senior management to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the fleet, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • MCIPS qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within procurement.
  • Strong track record of applying strategic procurement techniques.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in fleet management is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
