You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply strategies for a broad range of categories.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring effective performance and development.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans across various categories to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money and service excellence.
- Oversee the procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Collaborate with other senior management to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
- Manage the fleet, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- MCIPS qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within procurement.
- Strong track record of applying strategic procurement techniques.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in fleet management is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
