As a Teacher of Health and Childcare, you will play a key role in helping students understand the vital principles of health, development, and care in real-world contexts.
As a Teacher of Health and Childcare, your role will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that explore topics such as human development, care values, and health promotion.
• Supporting students with coursework and exam preparation.
• Encouraging learners to make connections between theory and practice in health and social care settings.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Contributing to a positive learning environment through collaboration with colleagues and pastoral teams.
To be considered for the Teacher of Health and Childcare role, you must:
• Hold QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Health and Social Care or Childcare at secondary or post-16 level.
• Be confident in delivering content for BTEC or similar vocational qualifications.
• Possess excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping students pursue careers in health, social care, and early years sectors.
