About the Role
Simply Education is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Canterbury who are looking to appoint a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA or a confident teaching assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences across the school, providing whole class cover when required and supporting children to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher.
- Deliver targeted small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Support teachers with planning, assessment, and resource preparation.
- Assist in creating an engaging and positive classroom environment.
- Promote the school's values and contribute to the wider school community.
What We're Looking For
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- A passion for helping children thrive academically and emotionally.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
