Stonemason Templater

Redstone Recruitment are looking for a skilled stone interiors templater to join a natural stone installation and manufacturing company on the outskirts of Cantebury.

You will work with a team measuring kitchen worktops, bathrooms, fireplaces. You will be responsible for visiting client sites taking precise templates for stone installations.You will posses experience in digital templating and physical correx templates.

Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday. Company vehicle, tools and ongoing training and development included.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to clients across the region to measure and template for worktops, flooring, bathrooms, and fireplaces.
• Use templating tools to create accurate templates for fabrication.
• Liaise with customers on-site to discuss requirements.
• Work closely with the designer estimator, fabricators, and installers.
• Identify and report any site issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are fully calibrated.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in stone templating or related field.
• Strong understanding of various types of stone and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in using digital templating equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided).
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• CSCS Card (Desirable)
• Experience using CAD software for stone fabrication.
