Audio Typist / Receptionist
Location: Canterbury
Salary: 24,000 to 27,000 Pro rata

We are working with our client, a well-established and highly professional organisation based in Canterbury, to recruit an experienced Audio Typist / Receptionist.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing and respected business where you will play a key role in both client service and office support. The position is offered on a full-time, 9 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The Role
This is a varied role where you will combine accurate audio typing and document preparation with reception duties as the first point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Audio typing and formatting documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Meeting and greeting clients in a professional manner
  • Answering calls and managing incoming communications
  • Maintaining organised files and records, both electronic and hard copy
  • Monitoring stationery and office supplies
  • Opening, scanning, and franking post

Person Specification

  • Strong and accurate typing skills (audio typing experience essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Professional phone manner and confident client-facing skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new terminology
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience (advantageous)
