Management Accountant

Venn Group is delighted to be working with a renowned broadcasting organisation to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This interim opportunity offers the chance to play a key role within a high-performing finance team, supporting the delivery of accurate reporting, strong controls, and ongoing process improvements within a complex group environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Conducting intercompany reconciliations and implementing robust reconciliation controls
• Reviewing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation processes across the group
• Identifying opportunities for process re-engineering and applying best practice to drive improvements
• Supporting the month-end close process, including reporting and variance analysis
• Collaborating with operational teams to support informed decision-making
• Maintaining and enhancing financial models and reporting tools
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies
• Liaising with internal and external auditors as required

Ideal candidate profile:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Experience using SAP and other ERP systems
• Prior exposure to group finance functions within large, complex organisations
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Location: Cardiff (2 days per week on-site)

Duration: 5-month interim contract, with high likelihood to extend

Pay rate: £300 per day

Working hours: Full-time

Start date: ASAP
