A dynamic, award-winning architecture studio is seeking a motivated and experienced Architect to join its central Cardiff team. Daily Duties
- Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through to completion
- Manage project teams, coordinating internal staff and external consultants to achieve high-quality results
- Produce technical drawings, construction documentation, and detailed design information
- Develop architectural models and design proposals using Revit
- Work confidently with a variety of procurement methods, including traditional and design & build
- Guide projects throughout the RIBA Plan of Work stages, ideally from inception to contract administration
- Ensure all project work complies with relevant legislation, contracts, building codes, and building regulations
Ideal Candidate
- Several years of post-qualification experience, including leadership responsibilities on architectural projects
- Strong design skills supported by robust technical knowledge of construction and detailing
- Proficient in Revit with good BIM awareness
- Experience delivering projects via both traditional and design & build procurement routes
- Excellent client-facing abilities and strong commercial awareness
- A collaborative team player with proven motivation, delegation, and people-management skills
- Ideally experienced across all RIBA Plan of Work stages
- In-depth understanding of regulations, contracts, and industry standards
