My client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented ALM Manager to oversee our Asset and Liability Management department in the financial services industry. This role is based on a hybrid basis in Cardiff and will require a keen understanding of balance sheet risks and financial modelling.

Description
- Oversee the development of asset and liability management strategies.
- Identify and manage balance sheet risks.
- Prepare and present ALM reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with different teams to develop financial models.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ALM function.
- Support the training and development of the ALM team.
Profile
A successful ALM Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in Asset Liability Management.
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet management and financial modelling.
- High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
