We are currently working on an exciting and unique opportunity for a reputable and innovative comparison website, who have built an impressive network of verified partners and local experts in their industry and are now looking to expand their business off the back of their success. They are looking to take their business to the next level and share their success by onboarding new talent. They are currently seeking a hands-on SEO Maager, with proven leadership skills to drive organic visibility, traffic and revenue growth by executing and optimising the company’s SEO strategy.

Reporting to the Head of SEO, this role involves managing a small team of SEO and Digital PR Executives whilst delivering measurable outcomes aligned with business objectives. They will implement and optimise the company’s SEO strategy to drive measurable increases in organic traffic and revenue, as well as supporting the Head of SEO in setting and achieving team KPI

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly SEO performance—spotting wins, gaps and fixes fast
  • Guide a tight-knit team, mentoring them to deliver commercial goals with confidence
  • Analyse search trends and keyword opportunities to attract high-converting users
  • Lead confident responses to algorithm updates, protecting rankings and pouncing on opportunities
  • Identify technical issues (crawlability, indexation) and work with developers to prioritise high-value fixes
  • Boost Core Web Vitals and site health to keep us fast and user-friendly
  • Audit and optimise pages for structure, intent and conversion power
  • Align with the SEO Content Manager to ensure on-page work supports big-picture goals
  • Oversee digital PR and link-building to grow domain authority and trust
  • Monitor link profile health and chase outreach that drives quality traffic

The successful candidate will hold a sound knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimisation and link-building strategies, as well as leadership experience, including managing and developing a team to achieve high performance. They will be confident with GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Looker Studio. In addition, they will hold a deep understanding of current SEO trends, algorithm updates and driving quality conversions. Analytical skills are essential in order to interpret complex datasets, monitor performance and develop actionable insights.
