Location: Cardiff (Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office)
Salary banding: 26,200 - 28,800
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm

In your role as an Assessor, you will facilitate the delivery of Coaching and Mentoring qualifications to apprenticeship learners, offering comprehensive support throughout their learning journey. By conducting individualised sessions, you will empower learners to reach their goals and enhance their personal and professional development

About the role:
This role needs someone with solid experience in coaching and mentoring, who has successfully supported people in learning or workplace environments. You'll use up-to-date, proven methods to help each learner understand and apply what they've learned with confidence. Our apprenticeship programme combines hands-on experience with classroom learning, and your skills will help learners put theory into practice in real work settings.
- Deliver high-quality training to learners and clients.
- Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with clear, tailored learning paths.
- Review and assess workplace evidence to ensure it meets qualification requirements.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet each learner's needs.
- Keep accurate records of attendance and training hours for audit purposes.
- Help plan, track, and meet performance targets.
- Organise and support additional training, including in-house sessions and day-release programs.
- Record learner progress to meet the standards set by awarding bodies.
- Travel to learner's workplaces within your region to carry out assessments.
Requirements:
Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring Qualification or equivalent
A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent is preferred
Proven occupational complete and experience in Coaching & Mentoring
Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
Welsh speaking is desirable.
