We have a new opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our HR Team based out of ourCardiff,Southampton,ReadingorOxfordoffice. The successful candidate will have day to day responsibility for acting as a first point of contact for all employees, providing support to the HR Business Partners to ensure employee relations processes run smoothly and efficiently, and supporting HR specialist teams with firm-wide programmes and processes.
We support hybrid working, typically with 3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR contact for all Business Support employees, providing advice and guidance on policy, procedure and all aspects of the employee life cycle
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the HR team on work experience and apprenticeships, helping to keep HR colleagues informed on best practice, thought leadership and market trends
- Provide meaningful analysis of people data and trends across the business
- Support HR Business Partners as required, for example conducting exit interviews, maternity risk assessments and interviews
- Support specialist areas of the HR team when requested, for example graduate recruitment campaigning and selection
- Participate in activities which raise the profile, reputation and services of the HR team which includes understanding the current range of services of all areas of HR, writing content for marketing campaigns, being proactive on social media and in leveraging your professional network to bring ideas and initiatives for consideration
- Support Blake Morgan colleagues with wellbeing advice and signpost to further sources of support if necessary
- Provide mentoring support to HR Administrators, proof reading letters and documents as required
- Ensure all employee data is processed in accordance with GDPR and information security requirements
- Store correspondence in employee files and ensure payroll information is accurate
- Ensure all aspects of HR are focused on diversity and inclusiveness to ensure accessibility and equality of approach to all colleagues

- Good working knowledge of HR Information Systems
- Good understanding of GDPR, information security and other relevant employment legislation
