- Be highly organised and efficient
- Deal with disputes and complaints.
- Give advice in relation to Employment Law, policy, governance, conducting litigation; and where necessary and appropriate appearing as advocate for the Council in Court and at tribunals (including the ET), hearings, and inquiries
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 3 years’ PQE in Employment Law.
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
