Location: Cardiff - Hybrid Working

A leading professional services organisation, specialising in quantity surveying and cost consultancy, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Cardiff team. The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering cost and commercial management services to clients across a diverse range of projects. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for ensuring value for money, financial control and effective risk management throughout project lifecycles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts

  • Supporting procurement and tendering activities

  • Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial procedures

  • Managing valuations, variations and final accounts

  • Providing cost and commercial advice to clients and stakeholders

  • Assisting senior colleagues in delivering projects to the highest professional standards

The Person
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure or consultancy environments

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT or similar)

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (working towards chartership would be advantageous)
