The Role:
We are looking for empathetic individuals who have experience in Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) roles. In this role, you will work closely with students to provide emotional support, help them build resilience, and promote their overall well-being. Your work will be invaluable in creating a safe and caring atmosphere within the school community.
ELSA’s play a key role in addressing the barriers to learning for students, either working 1:1 or with a targeted group of pupils in order to enable them to achieve their full potential. Through innovative, creative and professional practice, you will be able to engage pupils and inspire them to learn new skills and develop their self-esteem. No two days are the same, the pace is very quick and at Supply Desk you are encouraged to trial new approaches.
Requirements:
To become a part of our compassionate team, you must have the following qualifications:
- Experience as an ELSA with the supporting qualifications & experience
- Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS check if not already in receipt
- EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration (or willingness to register)
