Cache Developer – 3 Month Contract – Hybrid – Cardiff – Inside IR35
VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation in the public sector to recruit for a Cache Developer for an initial 3-month contract.
The role:
The successful Cache Developer will support on the delivery of a number of regulatory-driven updates to a legacy information management system.
Our client is currently migrating to a new system, however there are 8 specific changes required on the existing system to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice in the interim.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver defined system changes based on existing blueprints/specifications
- Implement caching solutions that improve performance without compromising regulatory compliance
- Work independently while collaborating with technical and compliance stakeholders as and when required
- Ensure updates meet relevant system regulations and standards
Key skills & experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached, Varnish)
- Proficient in backend programming (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, or similar)
- Proven ability to work from specifications/blueprints
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements / frameworks in clinical or healthcare systems would be an added bonus

- Length: 3-month initial contract

- Rate: £400 - £510 per day
- Location: Hybrid, Cardiff
