The Role: What You'll Be Doing
As a School Sports Coach, you'll be:
- Leading fun, inclusive and energetic PE sessions across primary and/or secondary schools
- Coaching and mentoring young people to build their confidence, coordination and love of sport
- Assisting teaching staff and possibly running after-school clubs or extra-curricular activities
- Being a positive role model – both on and off the field
This isn’t just about scoring goals – it’s about making a lasting difference in young lives.
What You’ll Need to Bring to the Game:
- Previous experience in coaching – ideally with children or in an educational setting
- An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check – or be happy to apply for one
- EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration (or willingness to register)
- Bags of enthusiasm, team spirit and a ‘can-do’ attitude!
