- Must hold a recognised Motor Vehicle/Mechanics qualification at Level 2 or above.
- Must hold a minimum of 3 years' experience within the Motor Vehicle sector.
- Experience of delivering on-the-job training within the workplace, or accredited training.
- Must be IT Literate.
- Teach/assess a caseload of unemployed learners through Motor Vehicle qualifications at Level 1, as well as accredited Employability training.
- Delivery of practical and theory training sessions.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
