Are you a compassionate support worker with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We're seeking a dedicated individual to work 15 hours a week with a young person in Carlisle who experiences challenging behaviours.
This flexible role involves providing support both in the community and in the young person's home. You'll focus on developing crucial life skills, basic maths, and literacy through practical, daily activities like shopping and managing money.
We're particularly interested in candidates with previous experience working with SEND children and challenging behaviours. A support worker who can easily connect with the young person's interests, such as gaming and Minecraft, would be ideal. This could be a great opportunity for a student or anyone with relevant support work experience.
