What You'll Be Doing
  • Taking ownership of the supplier base - selecting, negotiating, and securing the best quality and value.

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a Purchasing Administrator to build a high-performing team.

  • Streamlining and improving procurement processes, embedding best practice and continuous improvement.

  • Working closely with manufacturing and production teams to forecast materials, plan ahead, and keep stock levels optimised.

  • Building lasting supplier partnerships, including site visits and performance management.

  • Tracking procurement performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and taking action to hit key targets.

  • Ensuring the right products are sourced and available to support business-critical projects.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a manufacturing purchasing environment.

  • Strong MRP system knowledge to support planning and forecasting.

  • Proficiency in Office 365 for smooth cross-team collaboration.

  • Resilient and adaptable mindset - thriving in a fast-paced, growing business.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Sage 200

  • CIPS qualification or working towards one

  • Higher education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
