Technical Records Administrator

Location: Brize Norton (minimum 60% onsite)

Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Pay: 21.92/hr (PAYE) | 29.34/hr (Umbrella)

Security Clearance: BPSS to start, SC clearance required to continue

Industry: Aviation preferred, but open to transferable skills

About the Role

Join Guidant Global as a Technical Records Administrator and play a vital part in supporting AirTanker's operations. You'll be at the heart of our technical services team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of aircraft maintenance records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data management, ideally with experience in aviation or a similar technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Collect, audit, and administer all technical records and documentation in line with AirTanker's procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Data Entry: Enter and update maintenance records, including Sector Record Pages (SRPs), Work Packs, and Engineering Documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Create and distribute corrections, and report monthly metrics on SRP errors.
  • Digital Filing: Scan and electronically file documents in the correct format and location.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Services department, distributing paperwork and supporting team reviews.

What We're Looking For

  • Computer literacy and strong organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administration.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
  • High attention to detail, especially with technical paperwork.
  • Technical background or experience in aviation is highly desirable, but we welcome candidates from other industries with transferable skills.
