- Ensure our staff are well informed and engaged in a timely and appropriate manner as directed by Head of Marketing and Communications.
- Supporting the Head of Marketing and Communications in maintaining the integrity of, and evolving when and where necessary, the Culture and Values.
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and manage the production of company publications such as newsletters, emails, announcements, and intranet updates.
- Message Consistency: Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages and company strategies.
- Platform oversight: Plan and manage posting on company intranet sites.
- Support with innovative communication tools, methods and ideas to improve our employee engagement.
- Crisis Communication: Implement our crisis communication plans to manage, reassure, update and support colleagues during periods of uncertainty and change.
- Employee Engagement: Organise town hall meetings, Q&A sessions, and other internal events to enhance employee engagement.
- Feedback Monitoring: Monitor staff feedback and adjust communications content accordingly.
- Liaise with all local communications teams including RAF, MOD, industry
- Executive Leadership Team Support: Provide communication support and coaching to top executives and management as needed.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in internal communications
- Experience in a military / defence / airline environment would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Some design capability (PowerPoint and Canva proficiency)
