Overview
An established aviation organisation supporting a critical UK operation is seeking experienced Licensed B1 Aircraft Engineers to support base maintenance activity on a contract basis. The role will suit a current or recently active B1 who is comfortable operating in a regulated base maintenance environment and taking ownership of certification and technical delivery.

Your New Role
You will be responsible for carrying out and certifying aircraft maintenance tasks in line with regulatory and quality requirements. Working alongside senior engineers and shift management, you will support the safe and timely delivery of maintenance activity.

You Will Be
* Certifying maintenance and servicing tasks within your scope of authorisation
* Supervising and supporting technicians during maintenance activity
* Maintaining accurate technical documentation and certification records
* Liaising with planning and technical services to resolve issues and manage workload
* Supporting health, safety and environmental requirements on shift
* Deputising for senior engineers when required
* Supporting AOG or short notice maintenance activity as needed

You Will Have
* UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence
* A330 Type Rating
* Proven experience certifying aircraft within a Base Maintenance environment
* Strong working knowledge of maintenance documentation and technical data
* Comfortable working within a zonal or shift based team structure
* Professional, safety focused approach
