Essential Requirements for This Support Worker Role:
To be considered for this immediate start position, you must meet the following non-negotiable criteria:
- Minimum Availability: Ability to work more than 20 hours per week.
- Physical Intervention Training: Current, in-date Bild Accredited P.M.V.A. (Positive Management of Violence and Aggression) or P.R.I.C.E.(Protecting Rights and Institutional Care of Everyone) certificate.
- Training Compliance: Up-to-date, in-date face-to-face and online mandatory training certificates (e.g., Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Safeguarding).
- Background Check: A valid, in-date Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barred Service) check. If you are on the update service, please specify.
- Location/Transport: Live in or have the ability to drive to Castle Cary, UK.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a key member of our team, you will provide compassionate, person-centered care, including:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Following care plans and accurately documenting support given.
- Promoting client independence and well-being.
- Managing challenging behaviours where required (utilizing your P.M.V.A./P.R.I.C.E. training).
