Recon Advisory Partners is thrilled to be recruiting for a leading firm based in Castleford, Yorkshire and the Humber, known for their expertise in the Civil Engineering sector. They are looking to recruit a strong Quantity Surveyor who is looking to to take their next step in their career and join a fast growing company. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage cost estimates and financial reports for projects.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with budgets.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
  • Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor contract performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategies and risk management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the Civil Engineering sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
