Production Operatives – £15.85 per hour – Chard, Somerset (Ongoing Temporary Work)

Smart Recruitment are currently hiring Production Operatives / Factory Operatives for a busy manufacturing company in Chard. These ongoing temporary positions offer excellent pay, training, and long-term potential in a clean and modern production environment.

Pay rate: £15.85 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week, rotating double day shifts
Location: Chard, Somerset
Type: Full-time, ongoing temporary work

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: Mon–Thurs 05:45–13:45, Fri 05:45–12:55
Week 2: Mon–Thurs 14:00–22:00, Fri 13:10–20:20

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and production line equipment
Assemble and pack products to high quality standards
Carry out visual quality checks and report any faults
Follow production targets and maintain workflow
Keep workstations safe, clean, and organised

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking team player
Physically fit and comfortable with shift work
Good communication and attention to detail
Previous factory, warehouse, or production experience is useful but not essential – full training provided
