The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality language education, primarily focusing on French and Spanish, to foster students' communication skills and cultural awareness.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Encourage students to practice language skills through conversational classes, debates, and other interactive activities.
- Organize and participate in language-related events such as cultural fairs and exchange programs.
- Collaborate with other language teachers to integrate cross-curricular initiatives that enhance language learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching French and Spanish at a secondary school level.
- Proficient in using various teaching methodologies suitable for language instruction.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in learning new languages.
