We are seeking a motivated Business Studies Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Medway. This role offers competitive pay and is available for immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive business education to students, preparing them for future careers in business and helping them understand the dynamics of the business world.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation in business-related activities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and enhance student understanding of complex concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into teaching and learning.
- Participate in and possibly lead extracurricular activities such as business clubs or competitions that promote practical business skills.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the current business curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
