Newly Qualified Architect

Location: Essex

Salary: 33000-42000

An established RIBA-chartered practice in Essex is looking for a creative and motivated Newly Qualified Architect to join its collaborative and supportive team. Renowned for delivering bespoke, design-led solutions across residential, retail, and commercial projects, the practice offers the opportunity to work on meaningful schemes that truly make an impact.

This role is perfect for someone who has recently qualified and is ready to take the next step after Part 3. You'll gain hands-on experience across all RIBA work stages, with the support of a welcoming studio culture that values professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and lead design work across all RIBA stages

  • Prepare and coordinate detailed technical drawings and construction documentation

  • Support project delivery, including site inspections and contract administration

  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and contractors

  • Assist with planning applications, feasibility studies, and presentation materials



About You:

  • ARB registered

  • Experience in a UK architectural practice (as Part 2 or Architect)

  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction methods

  • Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred)
